Megahunt MH1701 Becomes World’s First Chip to Pass GSMA eSA IC Certification, with the highest secure level for eSIM/eUICC

On April 9, 2026, Megahunt’s MH1701 series secure chip was officially certified by the authoritative certification laboratory TrustCB, becoming the world’s first chip to obtain the GSMA eSA(eUICC Security Assurance) IC certification.

As the highest-level security certification in the global eSIM/eUICC industry, GSMA eSA IC sets strict benchmarks for chip hardware security, cryptographic algorithms, key management, and resistance to physical and side-channel attacks(SCA). It serves as a core access threshold for connecting to the ecosystems of mainstream telecom operators worldwide.

The MH1701 series has already achieved a full range of top-tier security qualifications, including Common Criteria (CC) EAL6+ certification. It has been in mass production and widely deployed in scenarios such as financial payment, hardware wallets, wearable devices, and the IoT, and has entered the supply chains of leading global terminal manufacturers.

The acquisition of GSMA eSA IC certification further strengthens Megahunt’s leading position in the global eSIM security field, laying a solid foundation for its expanded application in smartphones, wearables, industrial IoT, and other fields, and accelerating the large-scale commercialization of global eSIM services.
